TX CURE is actively lobbying to improve the living conditions of the men and women in Texas prisons. We also know from personal experience how incarceration puts a terrible strain on friends and family, and we want to ease this burden as much as possible.

One for-profit company in particular has expressed interest in providing assistance to inmate families. They are attempting to open new areas of

prison-related services.

TX CURE views this as a desirable goal and believes it to be worthy of our preliminary support. To this end we have agreed to place this brief request for your thoughts on our website. Please take the time to answer these questions and mail the completed form to our office. We will compile your responses ( minus your personal contact information!) and forward the results to the requesting company. No one will contact you or attempt to sell you a service of any type. Your identity will remain with TX CURE and will not be provided to any outside agencies.

“We would like your input regarding your needs once your loved one became incarcerated. We would like to know what types of assistance would have been nice to have, or are needed now. From social services, child associated needs, financial needs, housing, prescription drugs, insurance, or anything else you can think of, we would like to hear from you. We are working…to try and make these types of services and benefits available to you. Help to make a difference, speak out about your needs as an inmate or inmate family member."
