TDCJ-RID Resource Guide by County TDCJ does not release an inmate to parole without a verified home plan. Any inmate releasing to supervision who does not have an approved residence plan upon release will be placed by the TDCJ Parole Division (PD) in a residential reentry center, also known as a halfway house.
